Digg is a site that posts unedited news. No one to decide what news you'll read. Also you could meet people with similar beliefs because you can comment on the news feeds and express how you feel about the matter. You could possibly increase your popularity on the internet by posting current stories, or possibly even comedic photos on Digg. The more people like your feed, the higher chance your feed will be featured on a main page. Reddit uses twitter to save people time. I honestly think people are too fast paced now a days. Everything doesn't need to be SO convenient for people. Yes, time is precious. You don't get back the time you've spent, but I'm not a fan of Reddit nor Twitter, so this to me really won't be saving me time. At least not currently.

Thing 5: Beyond MyFaceSpaceBooking
We were given the option to create a twitter or a plurk? I have never heard of plurk, and already had a twitter that I don't really use (embarrassing). So I decided to use my twitter.
What's unique about this form of blogging is it is instant. People as well as celebrities tweet multiple time a day. I don't like this site really, but I can see how people can love it. I would like to keep it though, for professional reasons, such as professional networking.

I feel that some people could be very consumed by this site. Seeing as they have the actual celebrity pages, and keeping updated with the news and pop culture is important to our culture now a days.

Online Communication
MyAiCampus.com
This is where the Students at the Art Institutes log on to view or register for their classes, pay their bills, check their grades, and get to their student email.
Generally I don't use it a whole lot. I do every so often to check my grades, or pay a bill. I mean don't get me wrong, it's a beneficial system. I love that I can check my grades online, although they're not posted as much as I would like them to be. It's a great resource because students can make sure their grades are up to par, they can get some of their schooling paid for, register for classes without waiting to meet with a counselor, even get help with things via the internet.
There are some flawed parts of the site though. Such as, you can't set up your email account unless you're on the Mozilla Firefox internet browser. Not going to lie, I hate Firefox. To me it's garbage. I use a Mac so I use Safari, I think it works a lot better. But my school makes the MyAiCampus site run best on firefox.
So yeah, that's that.
RSS (Really Simple Syndication)
Hey everyone!
I'm guessing the title of this blog has you scratching your head. Well, let me explain the reason for the title. Again, it's another school thing. But an RSS is a place where you can get your daily news, and blog updates all in one place. Since I have a gmail account, I use Google Reader, because there's no signing up to do because they have a user name and password for me already.
I thought it would be a pain to have to go on to an RSS and scroll through the fluff and internet jokes on there. But it's actually very convenient. It's like logging in to Yahoo News, but it automatically updates and has all the biggest news of the day.
I can see myself being more up to date on big news now. Usually I only keep track of the Vikings, and find out news by word of mouth. Not anymore! I will be the one saying to my friends "did you hear about ______?" I'm not sure how it pertains to school that much though. (I go to an art school, there's not a whole lot of news I'm required to be up to date on)
Another convenient trait is they're only brief summaries of the real articles. They're short, and to the point. I learned that there is talk about building a device in the ocean that launches supplies to those in space. Also that there's someone who has been making fake ATM machine card slots that take pictures of your ATM number. There's a transparent toaster in the works. And in the shadow of the 'oh, so popular' Snuggie, there comes the Slanket Siamese. It's like a huge Snuggie, with 4 arm holes so two people can fit in to it. Yes, it's very ridiculous.
This isn't all Google Reader has to offer either. There's a column on the left side that's called 'Explorer', which breaks all the articles down to just their names. So, incase you're low on time and one catches your eye you can read up on it.

creativity
Ok, so recently I have been thinking about genius'. I'm not completely sure why. But I find it interesting how many of them will throw away the simpler thoughts of beings, such as person hygiene and such. For example, Einstein, he was so brilliant and caught up in his theory, he didn't even think about things such as combing his hair, bathing or brushing his teeth. I wonder if that comes in with artistic ability.
I'm not claiming to be an artistic genius, far from it. I just feel like my thoughts expand so deep that I am unsure how to process them at sometimes. I know, it sounds crazy. But I have made a few things that I have previsualized with in my head that have turned out exactly how I had imagined. And then when I think about it, if I keep expanding on one thought, I could make something phenomenal.
So currently my goal is to make something that even I am astonished by.

Friday January 15th
Hey everyone, it's me, yet again. I thought I would log in and write a little blog.
First of all, blogger (or blogspot), I honestly never thought I would have one of these. It's not like I just decided to go out and sign up for this site. No, I had to do this for an assignment for a class of mine at AIM. I'm not trash talking it though, it's not that bad. Although I probably would be more entertained if I had a ton of follower and a lot of feedback.
Second, we eventually have to get a twitter... I hate twitter. I have a twitter and I don't understand twitter, nor do I want to learn. I initially got twitter to show a potential client a design I had made for them. I figured that would be the easiest way for them to see it.
And then lastly, here are some of my most recent designs I have posted on the web. I hope you enjoy them. They turned out just like I imagined, and I am very happy with them. These three are all the same image rendered a different color. They are supposed to be displayed in a row like Red, Green, Blue. Also note that the right side of them may be cut off a little bit on this site.

New to this...
I'm not much of a blogger. I don't follow blogs of V-logs, they're not that interesting to me. But I figure I could give it a shot, right? Well, first off my name is Brian. I go to The Art Institutes International Minnesota for Graphic Design. I enjoy this school, I also enjoy designing. Keep posted and I will put some of my work I've done in my free time up for your viewing pleasures. But yeah... back to class...
