Thing 6: Digg & Reddit

Digg is a site that posts unedited news. No one to decide what news you'll read. Also you could meet people with similar beliefs because you can comment on the news feeds and express how you feel about the matter. You could possibly increase your popularity on the internet by posting current stories, or possibly even comedic photos on Digg. The more people like your feed, the higher chance your feed will be featured on a main page. Reddit uses twitter to save people time. I honestly think people are too fast paced now a days. Everything doesn't need to be SO convenient for people. Yes, time is precious. You don't get back the time you've spent, but I'm not a fan of Reddit nor Twitter, so this to me really won't be saving me time. At least not currently.

Thing 5: Beyond MyFaceSpaceBooking

We were given the option to create a twitter or a plurk? I have never heard of plurk, and already had a twitter that I don't really use (embarrassing). So I decided to use my twitter.
What's unique about this form of blogging is it is instant. People as well as celebrities tweet multiple time a day. I don't like this site really, but I can see how people can love it. I would like to keep it though, for professional reasons, such as professional networking.
I feel that some people could be very consumed by this site. Seeing as they have the actual celebrity pages, and keeping updated with the news and pop culture is important to our culture now a days.
